Winstrol is a mild oral anabolic steroid which was first developed in the late 1950's. When Winstrol was still in official production it was used clinically in the treatment of osteoporosis and dwarfism. As derivative of Testosterone it has been modified to reduce its masculinizing (androgenic) effects while preserving its tissue building (anabolic) effects. In terms of dosage the bodybuilding community recommends between 15-25 mg of Stanozolol day for 6-8 weeks. For injectable Winstrol a dosage 50 mg EOD is suggested. For women 5-10 mg a day for 4-6 weeks is recommended. For injectable versions 50 mg every two to three weeks is suggested, although female bodybuilders are not advised to use this injectable as it limits the control they have over their hormone levels. Winstrol should not be ingested with food as fat from foods can absorb it. This is not a concern with the injectable version.
