Composition

One Arimixyl tablet contains 1 mg of active ingredient - Anastrozole + excipients (lactose, magnesium stearate, povidone, primogel, polysorbate, corn starch, hypromellose, talc).

Pharmacodynamics and Pharmacokinetics

The active substance Anastrozole reduces the level of estradiol in the body of a woman during the postmenopause, by decreasing the intensity of the aromatase synthesis process (in the aromatase chain - androstenediol - estrone - estradiol). Admission of just 0.001 g of active substance reduces the level of the hormone by 80%.

After absorption in the digestive tract, the maximum concentration in the blood of Anastrozole reaches after 3 hours. About half of the substance binds to proteins in the blood plasma. The drug is excreted through the kidneys after 72 hours, after administration.
